Chess, a two player board game, believed to be invented by Indians. The chess board consists of 64 squares. 32 white squares, 32 black squares and 32 coins. The main aim of the player is to take out his opponents king. By placing a check mate, a player captures his opponent  king.

Beginning a Game
Two players are needed to begin the game. One Player plays for white and the other play for black. The chess board must be placed in such a  way that the white square should be on the right hand side of the player. The coins are arranged in order. The order is (from right to left) rook(elephant), knight(horse), Bishop, queen or king, bishop, Knight and rook. The row before the main coins should be covered with pawns(soldiers).
